None of the suppliers we contacted this week had any Alba truffle. Season over!

In Europe the truffle season continues to be tough on producers.
Speaking to our suppliers, there appears to be a variation in prices opening up across capital cities at the moment. Up in Brisbane you should be able to get truffle between $2.10 and $2.80 depending on size and grade. In Sydney they might be as high as $4. Love is well and truly in the air ahead of Valentine's in the harbor city. Our Melbourne contact mentioned they will not be supplying truffle this week but do check next week.
